Last Updated: January 1, 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Services Provided

Redstep Immigration provides regulated immigration consulting services under the authority of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) and the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA). We are authorized representatives as defined under IRPA s.91. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal opinions. Our consultants are Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs).

3. No Guarantee of Results

Immigration decisions are made solely by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), and the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB). No consultant can legally guarantee approval of any application. Our obligation is to prepare and submit thorough, accurate, and legally compliant applications.

4. Retainer Agreement & Fees

All fees are outlined in a CICC-compliant Retainer Agreement signed before engagement begins. The retainer agreement specifies the scope of services, fees, payment schedule, and refund terms in accordance with CICC regulations. No work commences until a signed retainer agreement is in place.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and truthful information. Under IRPA s.40, misrepresentation on an immigration application can result in a 5-year ban from applying for any immigration status, refusal of your application, and potential criminal charges.

6. Limitation of Liability

Redstep Immigration's liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for government processing delays, policy changes, or decisions made by IRCC, CBSA, or the IRB.

7. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with our services, you may file a complaint with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) at college-ic.ca. The CICC investigates complaints against licensed immigration consultants.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
